The Association of African Universities (AAU) cordially invites faculty members and researchers in the areas of Climate Resonance, Oceans, Sustainable Water Use, Marine Resources, and Fisheries, to participate in a special webinar scheduled for noon on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

The Association of African Universities (AAU) which has its secretariat domiciled in Accra, Ghana, is an initiative targeted at highlighting excellence in the African university systems and promoting collaborations and partnerships among universities in Africa.
Unilag Commences Examinations July 22
Ahead of the 2nd semester, 2023/2024 examinations scheduled to commence on Monday, July 22, 2024, all students are to generate and print their examination dockets. The dockets are to be submitted for endorsement by both the course adviser and faculty officer.
Meanwhile, The Centre for General Studies, University of Lagos, wishes to inform all candidates for the GST examinations commencing on Monday, July 15, 2024, and the only approved venue for the exams is the E-Centre of the Distance Learning Institute (DLI), UNILAG.
Candidates are advised to ignore any other conflicting information and promptly report at the DLI E-Centre for their exams as scheduled.

Prof. Wole Soyinka Celebrated @90
Many people across the globe celebrated the 90th birthday of Professor Wole Soyinka. The University of Lagos community also joined in celebrating the literary icon as Nigeria’s very first Nobel laureate.
Unilag takes pride in his being a part of the success story of UNILAG, having served as a lecturer in our Department of English between 1965 and 1967.
