Adekunle Gold, the Afrobeats singer, has nostalgically recalled the release of his debut album “Gold” eight years ago.
He remembered it as just a dream but knew he had a special gift that would propel him to success.
Gold expressed his determination to share his stories and music with the world, saying, “All I had was a dream. I knew I had a special gift, and I said to myself, ‘The world must hear this, they must know my name, these stories I have to share must find a home in people’s hearts.'”
Since then, Gold has released numerous hit songs, including “About 30,” “Afro Pop Vol 1,” “Catch Me If You Can,” and “Tequila Ever After,” earning him awards and recognition.
Grateful for his fans’ support, Gold thanked those who believed in him from the beginning, starting with his hit single “Sade.”
He also acknowledged the contributions of others to his album’s success.
Adekunle Gold is married to Simisola Kosoko, and they enjoy a thriving music career and marital life together. They are blessed with a lovely daughter, Adejare.
