The Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED) has commenced registration for the Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Professional Qualifying Examination (PQE) for 2024. The registration deadline for Degree IV, NCE III students, and external candidates seeking a teaching career is July 31, 2024.
According to the university management, the registration fees are as NCE students, N8,000, Degree students, N10,000, while Masters students are N12,000.

Students are advised to pay their registration fees alongside their school fees through their portals, which will open on Monday, July 2024. External candidates should pay into a designated bank account.
Note that candidates who paid for the TRCN PQE examination during the 2022/2023 academic session but failed to register will need to pay an additional N4,000 as part of the new TRCN fee regime to sit for the examination.
Only the 260 candidates who have already paid are permitted to register.
The management urges candidates to register promptly to secure their places in the examination, as this step is crucial for advancing their teaching careers and gaining necessary recognition.
