President Dewayne Frazier of the American University of Nigeria (AUN) Adamawa State has revealed the core components of the institution’s strategic plan for 2024–2029. The announcement, made recently at the library auditorium, generated great excitement among attendees.
The strategic plan, aimed at propelling the university to new heights, focuses on six key areas outlined by President Frazier during the congress. These include investments in human resource development, ensuring organizational sustainability through academic entrepreneurship and innovation, improving capital and infrastructure, enhancing community engagement, and reviewing existing policies to align with current realities.
President Frazier highlighted the university’s partnership with Academic Impressions to provide faculty and staff with access to online professional development opportunities as part of the strategic plan’s implementation. Progress is already underway, with ongoing renovations to improve student housing and plans to launch AUN consultancy services.
Emphasizing that the strategic plan will benefit not only faculty and staff but also the entire university community, President Frazier urged everyone to contribute their ideas. He envisioned a plan that would drive progress and distinction, guiding the university into the future.
Several staff members expressed their eagerness to support President Frazier in advancing the university’s goals, underscoring a shared commitment to moving the institution forward.
