Nigerian singing sensation and Grammy Awards nominee, Ayra Starr, has revealed her deep admiration for Afrobeats singers Asake and Seyi Vibez.
In a recent interview with The Beat FM Lagos, she explained why she collaborated with both artists on her sophomore album, “The Year I Turned 21”.

Ayra Starr clarified that she didn’t feature Asake and Seyi Vibez to reignite their rumored rivalry but because she genuinely loves their music.
She denied knowing about the alleged conflict between the two artists, stating, “I didn’t know about the rivalry between Asake and Seyi Vibez… I’m really big on sonics; what will sound good sonically.”
