Burna Boy Blames Stage Fall on Intoxication

Grammy Award-winning artist, Burna Boy, has attributed his recent stage fall to intoxication.

While performing, the Afrobeats singer attempted to connect with the audience by climbing the speakers but lost his balance and fell.

After regaining his composure, Burna Boy joked about feeling tipsy, which led to the incident.

His security team assisted him in getting back on stage, where he continued performing and even sang “Shayo oh,” meaning “someone who is drunk.”

The incident sparked mixed reactions from fans online, with some praising his quick recovery and others mocking him for being intoxicated.

This incident follows recent controversies, including accusations of disrespecting Davido’s father, and a member of a reggae band, Steel Pulse.

Burna Boy has since addressed these allegations, denying any intentional disrespect and emphasizing his willingness to stand up for himself if disrespected.
