
The Bursary Application for Delta State Indigenes is now open for the 2023/2024 academic year. This initiative by the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board aims to support students from Delta State by providing financial assistance through the Students Special Assistance Scheme (SSAS). Eligible students are encouraged to apply online.

Delta State Bursary Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the bursary, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must be of Delta State origin
Must have a National Identification Number (NIN).
Must be full-time students in government-approved private or public tertiary institutions (PGD, Masters, and PhD students are not eligible)
Must have a CGPA of 2.20 or above in the previous academic yearโs examination
Must be in their second year (200 level or above) in universities, ND II and HND in polytechnics/monotechnics, or NCE II-III in colleges of education
Must have an account with a CBN-approved commercial bank
How to Apply for the Delta State Bursary
Follow these steps to apply for the bursary:
Visit the Delta State Bursary Board website
Click on the โAPPLY NOWโ button to submit the bursary form
Pay a non-refundable fee of Eight Hundred Naira (N800.00) using a debit card for online processing
Download and print the online acknowledgment card for personal records.
Application Period
The registration site will be open for four weeks from Monday, 1st July to Wednesday, 31st July 2024. Note that there will be physical verification at the close of registration.
