
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is set to launch its first-ever CAF C Coaching Course exclusively for women, with the initial module scheduled to take place from July 15th to 25th at the NFF/FIFA Technical Centre, located within the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
Coach Augustine Eguavoen, the NFF Technical Director, announced on Thursday via thenff.com that the course will be divided into three modules.
The first module will run from July 15th to 25th, followed by a two-week internship for participants from July 27th to August 7th.
The second module will be held in Abuja from August 12th to 20th, after which another two-week internship will occur from August 23rd to September 4th.
The final module, including examinations, is set for September 9th to 19th.
The first module, beginning on Monday, will feature both theoretical and practical sessions daily from 8 AM to 6 PM, with two-hour breaks for tea and lunch.
Thirty coaches are expected to attend, with priority given to retired football players and women currently coaching but lacking formal coaching licenses. Notable attendees include former Super Falcons stars such as goalkeeper Precious Dede, defender Joy Jegede, and forward Vera Okolo. Other former Super Falconsโ players like forwards Maureen Eke and Esther Michael, midfielder Cecilia Nku, and former U20 girlsโ captain Gloria Ofoegbu are also registered for this inaugural program.
