Knowing that he will not stay forever in music, the American R&B star, Chris Maurice Brown, has resorted to investment as his exit strategy plan.
The popular music star has spent over two decades in the music industry and has been involved in some investment moves, which are the reason behind his long stay in the industry.
While speaking to “The R&B Money Podcast,” with hosts J. Valentine and Tank, Brown disclosed what instigated him to make a franchise investment early in his career.
Brown said, “I was 17 when I started trying to invest in certain things, just ’cause I knew…you don’t know how long you are going to be successful, and it’s not like every artist can make it look like they are getting money.”
He advised, “If you’re not a touring act if you’re not doing stuff, you need an exit strategy.
In an interview Brown had with US Weekly in 2015, he intimated the medium that he was the owner of 14 Burger King restaurants, telling the R&B Money Podcast that this type of planning can be a game-changer for an artist.
Brown is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, and actor who is one of the most prominent artists in R&B.
