Job Purpose/ Key Objectives:
The Corporate Communications Content Specialist will be responsible for creating and delivering compelling written and visual content that effectively communicates our brandโs message and values.
The job holder will have strong skills in copywriting, corporate writing, storytelling, graphics design, video editing, and social media management to enhance our internal and external communications.
Principal Accountabilities:
Copywriting and Corporate Writing:
Write clear, persuasive, and original content for various corporate communications, including press releases, internal memos, newsletters, and executive speeches.
Develop and maintain a consistent corporate voice across all written materials.
Craft engaging stories and narratives that highlight the company’s achievements, culture, and initiatives
Storytelling:
Identify and develop story ideas that align with the companyโs strategic goals and resonate with target audiences.
Collaborate with different departments to gather information and translate it into compelling content.
Create case studies, employee profiles, and success stories to showcase the companyโs impact and values.
Graphics Design and Video Editing:
Design visually appealing graphics for use in presentations, social media, and marketing materials.
Edit and produce high-quality video content for internal and external communications.
Ensure all visual content aligns with the companyโs brand identity and messaging guidelines.
Social Media Management
Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance the company’s online presence and engagement.
Create, schedule, and publish content across various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for improvement.
Content Development and Management:
Maintain and update the companyโs website and intranet with fresh and relevant content.
Ensure all communications materials are consistent with the companyโs branding and messaging guidelines.
Manage content calendars to ensure timely delivery of all communications initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media contacts, community leaders, and industry partners.
Assist in organizing and promoting corporate events, webinars, and other promotional activities.
Others
Collaborate in the allocation of budget for content creation and all related costs and assist in managing payments to related vendors.
Job Knowledge, Skills, Educational Requirement:
Qualification:
Bachelorโs degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role, either in-house or with a reputable media agency.
Proven experience in copywriting, corporate writing, storytelling, and content creation.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset with the ability to translate complex information into engaging content.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in a corporate or agency setting is preferred.
