The popular Canadian rapper and musician, Drake, has sent a word of consolation to Davido for losing all three awards he was nominated for in the 66th Grammy Awards.
The message by Drake was contained on the social media platform, assuring Davido that he was already a hero and that the Grammy was not a fact.

Drake wrote, “You have already won if you have people who are singing your songs word for word if you are a hero in your hometown. The show is just the opinion of a group of people whose names are kept secret.
His message was also directed to other Nigerian singers who lost out on the occasion.
All Nigerian singers such as Asake, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, and Olamide, who were also nominated for the prestigious Awards, lost out entirely.
They all failed to clinch any of the ten Grammy nominations in a variety of prize categories, however, Tyla, a South African singer, clinched the coveted Best African Music Performance Award.
On Sunday, February 4, 2024, the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles played host to the Grammy Awards.
