Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has sparked controversy on social media over her comments on the #EndBadGovernance protest.
In a recent post on her verified Instagram page, Daniels condemned the protest, claiming it had been hijacked by hoodlums in the North and other parts of the country.

Daniels expressed her disdain for the violent turn the protest had taken, emphasizing that she was not speaking on behalf of the government or seeking to win people’s favour. Instead, she claimed to be campaigning against the destruction of lives and property.
However, social media users slammed the actress for her comments, accusing her of being insensitive to the citizens’ plight amidst the country’s economic hardship.
One commentator, Cynthia, wrote: “My darling Gina (Regina), your point is made, but please remember that a hungry man is an angry man… The unbearable economic hardship has resulted in food scarcity and hunger.”
Others described Daniels’ campaign against the protest as baseless and futile, emphasizing that Nigerians demand change in the country.
