Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo recently appeared on Gbenga Adeyinka’s talk show, “Gisting With The GCON,” where he shared how his father, veteran actor Adebayo Salami aka Oga Bello, influenced his decision to avoid polygamy.
He expressed that despite his father having multiple wives, he maintained a peaceful home and warned his children against polygamy, threatening to disown them if they married more than one wife.

Femi Adebayo also revealed his childhood dream of becoming a lawyer, which his father supported.
However, he eventually followed in his father’s footsteps and pursued a career in acting, inspired by his father’s success.
He has since become a household name in Nollywood, producing blockbuster films like the 2023 Netflix original epic Yoruba movie, ‘Jagun Jagun.’
The movie earned over $1.4 million within the first 30 days of its release, making it the highest-grossing movie of 2023.
