A don and researcher from Leuphana University, Germany, Dr. Ilsemargret Luttmann, is impressed by the significant infrastructural reforms at Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE).
During a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abayomi Fashina, Luttmann praised the proactive and pragmatic leadership that made the reforms possible.
According to Toluwanimi Bamigbola, Luttmann noted that the accomplishments are remarkable feats achieved in less than three years of Professor Fashina’s leadership.
She acknowledged the University’s global status under Professor Fashina’s leadership and commended the students’ enthusiasm and interaction.
She expressed her admiration for the serene and conducive environment at FUOYE and hopes for continued collaboration to keep the University in the global spotlight.
Responding, the Vice Chancellor highlighted the University’s research excellence, surpassing some first-generation universities, and its growth, with over 500,000 students, 30 new lecture rooms, and a relaxation park for students.”
