About the job
i-Fitness seeks a head of corporate sales and partnerships to take charge of its corporate sales, source and manageย partnership and collaboration opportunities that will be beneficial and or complementary to the i-Fitness businessย or brand. The role will also be accountable for the growth and management our new business developmentย opportunities, including and not limited to, equipment supply, space rental as well as our 3rd party gymย management services.ย
Core responsibilities will be business proposal development, sales projection and reporting, negotiation,ย performance management, recruitment and training of frontline sales and account management staff. This roleย will also be required to collaborate closely with the marketing, branch management, communications and memberย engagement teams to execute partnership SLAs at our branches.ย
Responsibilities
Establish Sales Channels
โข Build a healthy portfolio of partners/affiliates/agencies to drive account acquisition – creating revenue๏ฟพgenerating partners
โข Manage and drive relationships with corporate clientele (existing and potential) enable growth andย achieve revenue objectives
โข Identify and develop new markets to drive the business targets of the region.
Operational Efficiencies
โข Build, track, and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities
โข Achievement of overall sales of the region (including partners, commercial buildings, malls & Corporates)
โข Maintaining performance through input KPIs daily
โข Assist in the implementation of promotions and BTL activities for the acquisition of new customers acrossย segments.
Customer Focus
โข Understand customer requirements and articulate problem statements to help pitch/ build the rightย product
โข Develop a deep and long-standing relationship with KDMs within the customer portfolio to maximize life๏ฟพcycle value
โข Build a pipeline for upselling and cross-selling to an existing account
Partnership Development
โข Identify, initiate, and nurture strategic partnerships with industry leaders, associations, and keyย stakeholders.ย
Client Acquisition
โข Lead the development and execution of comprehensive business development strategies to acquire newย clients.ย
Market Analysis
โข Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential business opportunities and stay ahead of industryย trends
โข Utilize legal insights to navigate regulatory landscapes and anticipate market challenges.
Relationship Management
โข Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry players.
โข Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions that align with their business goals.ย
Proposal Development
โข Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients
and partners. Ensure all proposals adhere to legal and compliance standards.
Negotiation and Contract Management
โข Lead negotiations with partners and clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
โข Oversee the contract management process, collaborating with legal teams to finalize and execute
agreements.ย
Desired Experience and Qualifications
โข Degree in Marketing, sales or Economics (or related or complementary courses)
โข Advance degrees in Business administration, marketing or any related courses will be a bonus
โข Minimum of 10 yearsโ experience in corporate sales and Partnership in Nigeria is a must.
โข Experienced in both direct sales and channel management
โข Strong client relationship management and networking skills
โข A pro-active result-driven initiative-taker who can operate both individually and as part of a team.
โข A consultative selling approach with demonstrated experience in HMO, Insurance, fitness or hospitality
service field is mandatory.
โข Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory
โข Excellent communication and presentation skills and a distinctive analytical and structured approach
โข A flare for problem-solving with strong organizational skills
โข Proven track record of owning responsibility and scaling up revenue
โข Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
โข build a complete end-customer solution, with the assistance of presales, and technical resources.ย
