Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company’s objectives and growth plans.
• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial risk management.
• Lead the annual audit process and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Provide strategic financial advice and guidance to senior management and department heads.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and process improvement.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree an added advantage.
• Professional certification such as ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 5years experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and drive continuous improvement.
• High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
