JAMB Opens Window for DE Candidates to Change Course, Institution

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has opened the window for the change of course for 2024 Direct Entry (DE) applicants.

The Board made this announcement via its official handle, announcing that the service to change institution and course is available for applicants on its portal.

Here are the steps to follow:

• Log in to your JAMB profile
• Open the menu tab on your JAMB profile
• Click register; a drop-down box will appear showing UTME correction of data
• Click it and follow the steps to pay either online or at the bank
• You can pay online through the JAMB portal or pay N2,500 at the bank (plus N100 bank charges)
• Finally, go to the nearest JAMB office or its accredited centre to complete the process (note that an additional fee will be charged for the service)

Please note that the change of course and institution can only be done once and candidates can only change to a course relative to their selected UTME Subject combination.
