If you scored low in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), there’s still a chance to gain university admission through the Joint Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB).
To qualify, you need five O’Level credits obtained at not more than one sitting or six credits at not more than two sittings in relevant subjects.
These can be from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), National Examinations Council (NECO), or The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB).
How to Apply for JUPEB:
- Visit the JUPEB registration website (https://jupeb.org.ng/register) and register online.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of N15,250 using a debit card or online bank transfer.
- After successful payment, fill out the online registration form.
- Print the application slip and proceed to your chosen study center for clearance and resumption.
Required Documents:
- Applicant bio-data
- O’Level results (or awaiting notification)
- Passport photograph (150 x 150px)
- Valid email address and phone number(s)
