Following successful nationwide demonstration embarked upon by the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, and its Trade Union Congress counterpart, TUC, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had begun a meeting with the leaderships of the two unions to find a common ground on how to solve economic hardship in the country.
As at the time of filling this report, negotiations, delibrations are still ongoing to persuade the labour union to call off the demonstration and suspend the strike as well.
It will be recalled that NLC and TUC have held series of meeting with the government over subsidy removal and ways to address its attendant effects on the masse.
Early in the morning today NLC and TUC just like Parisian mobs with other demonstrators marched to the National Assembly to register their displeasure to the legislators about the hardship being experienced by the ordinary Nigerians.
