LASU Students Oppose 10k CBT Fees
The students of Lagos State University (LASU) have shown their anger at the introduction of the N10,000 Computer Based Test (CBT) fee. According to one X user @joshknowsal, โWe LASUITE are saying no to extortion of our freshmen. No payment of CBT fee.
Recently the management of the university announced the introduction of N10,000 as CBT fee for fresh students.

Baze University Hosts 3rd Inaugural Lecture
Baze University held its 3rd Inaugural Lecture on June 25, 2024. The event featured Ositadinma Agbu, a Professor of International Relations, who delivered a lecture entitled “Technology and International Relations – Backward and Forward Linkages in Steel Development and Nigeria’s Foreign Policy.” Agbu emphasized the crucial role of these linkages in steel development and their impact on Nigeria’s foreign policy and political economy. The vibrant event was attended by staff, students, guests, and academic procession led by the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kathleen Okafor, SAN.

UNILAG to Launch Molecular Biology Platform Today
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, is set to inaugurate the University of Lagos Molecular Biology and Next Generation Sequencer Platform on Monday, July 8, 2024. The ceremony will commence at 10:00 a.m. on the 1st floor of the D.K. Olukoya Central Research & Reference Laboratories, located on Oduduwa Drive, University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.
The newly established Molecular Biology Laboratory and Next Generation Sequencer Platform, spearheaded by the D.K. Olukoya Central Research & Reference Laboratories, aims to propel advanced research and human capacity development across various fields, including health, agriculture, and the environment.
