The National Examinations Council (NECO) has been praised for the ongoing malpractice-free examination. Dr. Iyela Ajayi, Executive Secretary of the National Senior Secondary Education Commission (NSSEC), commended NECO during his supervisory visit to Model Secondary School Maitama and Funtaj International School, Gudu, in Abuja.
Ajayi hailed NECO for the smooth conduct of the examination, noting that the absence of malpractice will lend credibility to the exam results both locally and globally.
“Based on what I’ve observed, NECO certificates will be accepted nationally and internationally,” Ajayi said.
He encouraged NECO to strive for international recognition of their certificates by foreign institutions.
Mrs. Rachael Ekukuje, NECO supervisor at Model Secondary School, Maitama, corroborated Ajayi’s view, confirming that the examination has been hitch-free.
