A set of new student leaders has emerged at the Covenant University (CU) for 2023/2024 academic session.
This, according to Students Council of the University, is to have a new set of leaders to champion the interest of the students and interface with the University Management.
Emerging as the Chairman of Undergraduate Students Executive is Tah Nji Deratus Angel, while Irabor Someze Favour and Awodipe Oluwapamilerin Oluwasemilore will serve as Vice-Chair (male) and Vice-Chair (Female) respectively.
Wakali Theophilus Nang emerged as the Chairman of the Postgraduate Students Executive, while Abodunrin Blessing Oluwafolakemi will serve as Vice-Chair, and Bassey Enwongo as Execitive Secretary.
Nji in the acceptance speech said he was grateful to God for the privilege to serve as the council chair for the academic session.
He promised to serve his colleagues with the best of intent to foster a conducive learning environment.
According to Nang he thanked the University Management for the opportunity to serve, promising to work at strengthening the founding vision of the University of raising the generation leader.
