The Obafemi Awolowo University has announced that its online screening exam will take place from Sept. 9 to 13, 2024. The exact date will be allotted to each candidate.
This was disclosed in an online press release signed by the Registrar and Secretary to the Council, K.A Bakare, entitled “2024 Admission Screening Exercise (For UTME and Direct Entry Candidates)”.

The release stated that the screening will be conducted online and that candidates who provide false information or upload incorrect credentials will be automatically disqualified.
Candidates are required to check their screening schedule on the University’s admission portals from Tuesday, Sept. 3 to Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024.
The screening exercise is for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) candidates.
Only prospective candidates who made OAU their first choice and scored 200 and above are eligible for the exam.
The registration period is scheduled from August 5 to September 1, 2024.
Note that the post-UTME screening fee is N2,000, excluding portal access charges.
