Ondo State Governor, Akeredolu, is Dead

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State is dead.According to the report, Akeredolu died in Lagos on Wednesday at the age of 65.His doctors were searching for a dialyses machine with which to treat him at a secret location in Lagos, last week.Because Akeredolu could not be flown abroad for treatment, he was being treated by State House medical experts until his death.

He had been on medical leave in Germany but was brought back in September this year.After coming back to Nigeria, he was on another medical leave when he had to hand over power to the Acting Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

Before he handed over power, both his Deputy, Aiyedatiwa, and the late Akeredolu, were locked in a battle that took President Tinubu to intervene.What’s your thought about this?Kindly like, comment, follow and share.
