Veteran Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwor, has attributed the recent deaths in the industry to carelessness and negligence on the part of actors and actresses.
In a recent interview in Lagos, Ozokwor emphasized the importance of prioritizing health, stating that actors and actresses often neglect their well-being while pursuing their careers.

“Some people are careless and would rather visit a chemist or pharmacy for a quick fix instead of seeking proper medical attention when they’re ill,” she said.
“This carelessness can lead to severe consequences, and I believe it’s a major contributor to the recent deaths in our industry.”
Ozokwor, fondly known as Mama G, advised her colleagues to prioritize their health and undergo regular check-ups to prevent health issues.
She also shared her encounter with God, which led her to become an evangelist.
