The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced that registration for the 2024 West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) second series has commenced for private students. The registration fee is N27,000, and the normal registration period runs from Monday, July 8, to Friday, August 9, 2024.
Candidates are required to pay the registration fee at designated banks and accredited agents, obtaining a registration PIN and information VCD.
Additionally, a N500 commission fee is payable to the banks and accredited agents.
After the registration deadline, candidates can still register as “Walk-in candidates” by paying a fee of N45,000, provided they register at least 24 hours before the scheduled exam time.
Candidates can purchase PINs and register at accredited banks, cyber cafes, WAEC offices, and WAEC Registration Points nearest to them.
They must complete registration within two weeks of accessing the website and ensure accurate personal information, including name, gender, passport photograph, date of birth, and subjects.
Successful registration will be confirmed by an admission notice, which serves as identification during the examination.
