Contrary to rumors, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, remains signed to Mavin Records, the label’s CEO, Michael Ajereh (Don Jazzy), has confirmed. This debunked speculation about Rema’s contract termination with Mavin Records and its affiliate, Jonzing World, owned by D’Prince, Don Jazzy’s brother.
In 2019, Rema signed a record deal with Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records, after impressing D’Prince with his talent.
A recent online photo showed Don Jazzy, Rema, and Mavin’s Chief Operating Officer, Tega Oghenejobo, in Paris, suggesting a strong relationship.
Other notable artists signed to Mavin Records include Ayra Starr, Crayon, Ladipoe, Jonny Drille, Korede Bello, and Boy Spyce.
However, according to report, Rema has officially parted ways with Mavins Records and Jonzing World after buying out his contract.
