Popular skit maker, Sabinus, has expressed relief after his kidnapped father was released by his abductors. On his Instagram page, Sabinus revealed that he paid a significant ransom to secure his father’s freedom, thanking God for providing the means to do so.
He wrote, “We bless God for providing, otherwise, I would have been unable to pay the ransom. People would have only offered condolences.”

Sabinus humorously noted that the kidnappers who abducted his father would likely still watch his skits and laugh.
The abduction occurred in Rivers State, where gunmen ambushed his father while he was returning home.
During a rescue attempt, the abductors and local security team, Ospac, engaged in a gun duel, resulting in the death of an Ospac officer and injury to an unfortunate neighbor, who is currently receiving medical treatment.
