Role Description
The Senior Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships
with key clients, providing exceptional customer service, and identifying new business
opportunities. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement
effective strategies to meet client goals and objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
โข Manage existing key accounts.
โข Acquire new key accounts.
โข Generate, nurture and convert leads.
โข Identity cross selling and upselling opportunities to deepen existing relationships.
โข Develop and execute a sales strategy that ensures organisational targets are achieved.
โข Schedule periodic receipt of feedback from clients to ensure optimum client satisfaction.
โข Provide periodic reports on sales outcomes.
โข Carry out account planning activities to provide insights into clientsโ accounts for decision
making.
โข Identify and coordinate sponsorship and thought leadership opportunities.
โข Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of client briefs and
requests:
โข design, digital marketing, social media team and so on as required.
โข Liaise with external stakeholders: clients, partners, consultants, regulators, media houses
and so on as required.
โข Organise and anchor client pitch and review sessions.
โข Coordinate the preparation of periodic client reports as agreed.
โข Coordinate all client service-related activities: events, client visits and so on as required.
Key Requirements
Education/Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Requirements
โข First degree in any Marketing, Business Management or other related social science
course.
โข 7-10 yearsโ experience in a marketing/advertising agency.
โข At least 5 years in client services in a marketing/advertising agency.
โข Certifications and professional memberships will be an added advantage:
โข ARCON, NIPR, CIM etc
โข Verifiable evidence of customer acquisition and management competency.
โข Sound understanding of marketing and advertising.
โข Experience in planning, budgeting & forecasting.
โข Good knowledge of reporting and analytics tools: Excel, Word and so on.
โข Proven track record in delivering sales results
โข Excellent leadership skills.
โข Strong organizational and time management abilities
โข Excellent customer service and complaint resolution skills.
โข Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
โข Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
โข Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
