Afrobeat star Seun Kuti has announced that his upcoming album, “Heavier Yet (Lays the Crownless Head)”, will feature collaborations with several high-profile artists.
In an interview on Naija FM in Lagos, Kuti revealed that one of the heavyweights he hopes to collaborate with is Damian Marley, son of the late Bob Marley.

Kuti sent all the songs from his upcoming album to Marley, who chose to collaborate on “Dey”, which became the lead single.
Kuti and Marley first met at a festival in southern France early in their careers, and their managers have a cordial relationship.
The album, due for release on October 4, marks a historic collaboration between two musical giants and promises to deliver a sonic experience like no other.
With six electrifying songs, each track embodies the spirit of resistance, resilience, and revolution.
