The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) team of assessors visited the University of Lagos (UNILAG) recently to assess the TETFUND Centre of Excellence in Biodiversity Conservation and Ecosystem Management (TCEBCEM). The team was in UNILAG to review the utilization of the grant won by TCEBCEM in 2020.
Its assessment activities, which were held between Tuesday, April 2 and Wednesday, April 3, 2024, embraced office at the basement of Akintunde-Ojo Library extension, TCEBCEM laboratory at the DK Olukoya Central Research Laboratory and the Screen House for Aquaponics Research situated at the Faculty of Science.
The team, which included Professor Oyewale Tomori and Dr Comfort Ochepo, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of UNILAG, Professor Folasade Ogunsola.
They also had interaction with members of the centre, led by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Bola Oboh, engaging also with the post graduate students at the centre.
