
NANVIS UNILAG Holds M.A.D. 2024
The National Association of Nigerian Visually Impaired Students, University of Lagos (NANVIS-UNILAG), recently held its yearly advocacy event tagged: Making A Difference (M.A.D), Breaking Boundaries, and Exceeding Societal Stereotypes.
The event occurred on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 10.00 a.m. at Tayo Aderinokun Lecture Theatre, UNILAG.
Among other speakers at the event are Dr Festus Oshoba (current, President of the Ophthalmologist Society of Nigeria) who spoke on โWays to Keep Your Sight in Formโ; and Prof. Oye Oyewo, SAN (Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Oyo State) who also spoke on โMake a Differenceโ.

Work-Study Scholarship at Achievers University
Hon. Dr. Bode Ayirinde, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Council at Achievers University, Owo, Ondo State, has encouraged the second cohort of the University’s Work-Study Scholarship Program to uphold the high moral and academic standards expected of its students and alumni.
He delivered this message during the 2024 Bond-Signing Ceremony, where six new beneficiaries were officially inducted into the program at the University’s Council Chamber.

VC Emphasizes Positive Student Relations
The Vice-Chancellor of Caleb University, Imota, Lagos, Professor Nosa Owens-Ibie, has urged Hall Administrators to foster positive relationships with the students they oversee.
Professor Owens-Ibie made these remarks during the inauguration of a two-day leadership workshop for Hall Administrators, which took place at the university’s New Cafeteria recently.
