UNIMAID to Hold 42nd Matriculation Ceremony
The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) is set to organize the 42nd Matriculation Ceremony scheduled for Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The convocation ceremony will take place at the Convocation Square.

25 New Academic Programmes for Adeyemi Federal University of Education
The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED) in Ondo to offer 25 academic programs starting from the 2023/2024 academic session. Dr. Samuel Akintunde, the Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor, announced this in a statement to the university community on Friday, May 17, 2024.
It is noteworthy that the NUC officials, along with a team of experts from various tertiary institutions across the country recently conducted a Resource Verification Exercise at the university. During this exercise, several programmes in the Arts, Education, Social Sciences, Sciences, Vocational, and Technical Education were thoroughly assessed.
