Nollywood veteran Zack Orji, visibly angry, has denounced those who spread negative comments about him. Rumors have circulated that Orji is from Gabon, born to a Gabonese father and a Nigerian mother.
Additionally, it was rumored that he had passed away after being hospitalized for an unknown ailment in Nigeria and abroad.

However, Orji recently took to his Instagram page to express his frustration and debunk the rumors, proudly declaring, “I am a full-blooded Nigerian from Enugu, the Coal City State, and I am proud of my Nigerian heritage.”
Orji emphasized that this was not the first false rumor about him, as it was previously claimed that he had died.
“Not long ago, they said I was dead, but by God’s grace and mercy, it turned out to be a lie from the pit of hell. Now, another lie has emerged, claiming I am from Gabon and not a Nigerian.
“I hereby issue a disclaimer dissociating myself from that lie. I am a full-blooded Nigerian, and both my parents are Nigerians. I am from Enugu State, the Coal City State, and I am proudly Nigerian and equally proud of my Nigerian heritage.
“God Almighty will deal with whoever originated that lie, and He will deal with the liar as He deems fit,” the visibly perturbed Orji expressed, pouring out curses.
