Covenant University, located in Ota, Ogun State, has once again secured the top spot in the ranking of Nigerian universities. The ranking, conducted by Times Higher Education (THE), encompasses 1,906 universities across 108 countries and regions.
The 2024 ranking is based on THE’s new World University Ranking (WUR) 3.0 methodology, which evaluates institutions using 18 carefully calibrated performance indicators across five key areas: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry engagement, and international outlook.
Analysis of the latest ranking reveals that Covenant University is among the top 1,000 universities globally, reaffirming its position as a leading institution of higher learning.
