Love and war are often seen as complete opposites, but the truth is that they have a direct relationship, sharing similar qualities. Both are double-edged swords, each swinging into either prosperity or disaster.
It takes a lot of courage to admit you love someone, especially when everyone around you is against the relationship. In the same vein, in war situations, courage is required when you realize that you may die on the battlefield or become victorious.
When in love, letdowns may result in emotional scars, which may be incomparable to any physical pain reaching into their very soul. The same holds for war.
The hardships people have to deal with and emotional wounds that would take a lifetime to change can be experienced.
When you love, you don’t live for yourself, but you are burdened by the power love has over you. In war, people die and suffer depression on both warring sides; nobody is a winner at the end.
