Our client, a prominent company in the Nigerian events industry, is looking to hire a Content Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping the online presence and driving engagement and sales through Instagram and other social media platforms. This multifaceted position combines creative content development with proactive client engagement and inbound sales.
Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Development:
Develop and execute comprehensive content plans that align with our brand objectives and resonate with our target audience. This involves conducting thorough content audits, identifying gaps, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure a cohesive and engaging content experience across all channels.
Work with teams and vendors to develop and curate high-quality, on-brand posts that resonate with our target audience.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant content strategies.
Client Engagement:
Proactively engage with potential clients on Instagram by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
Foster positive relationships with followers, turning engagement into potential sales opportunities.
Monitor and analyze audience feedback and adjust content strategy accordingly.
Act as the first line of inbound sales on Instagram, guiding potential clients through the sales process.
Identify and qualify leads generated through social media channels.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from social media engagement to the sales funnel.
Social Media Management:
Manage and optimize our presence on various social media channels, ensuring a consistent brand voice and message.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on social media engagement and sales conversions.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in content strategy, development, or a related field, preferably in the events industry.
Proven experience in social media content strategy and development, and a strong creative and visual storytelling aptitude.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Sales-oriented mindset, experience in inbound sales is an added advantage.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools.
Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and stay updated on industry trends.
Strategic mindset, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of industry trends.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
A first degree or equivalent in experience

6 day work week including presence on weekend and at events
Salary
