As the days turned into weeks, Kamoru and the villagers closed in on Oba and his gang. They followed their trails through the dense jungle, discovered their hideouts, and gathered information from informants who had grown tired of Oba’s tyranny.
Finally, on a moonlit night, the villagers launched a coordinated attack on Oba’s hideout. The element of surprise was on their side, and a fierce battle ensued.

Chief Adewale, his daughter safe and sound, declared a day of celebration in honour of Kamoru and the brave villagers who had stood up to Oba’s tyranny.
