I.C.E. to Hold Interactive Session
The Institute of Continuing Education (I.C.E.) at the University of Lagos is set to host an interactive session for part-time students on Thursday, May 2, 2024.
The event, named “General Assembly,” will commence promptly at 5:00 p.m. at the Afe Babalola Hall, UNILAG.
The purpose of the assembly is to facilitate direct dialogue between students and the I.C.E. management team, aiming to identify challenges and collectively devise solutions. All I.C.E. students are encouraged to attend this session.
Ajilore to Deliver Babcock University’s 48th Inaugural Lecture
Professor Kolade Ajilore, the Head of the Department of Mass Communication at Babcock University in Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, is scheduled to deliver the institution’s 48th Inaugural Lecture on Thursday, May 2, 2024, by 2:00 pm. The event will take place at the university’s Main Auditorium.
The Registrar, Dr. Jonathan Nwosu, announced that Prof. Ajilore, a renowned expert in Marketing Communications, will present a paper titled “Advertising Practice as Brand Communication Archery in the Age of a Rebellious Audience.”
Groundbreaking Surgery in ABU Teaching Hospital
Dr. Onimisi Abdullahi Jimoh, alongside his team, has achieved a groundbreaking milestone at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital in Zaria by performing the first cerebral aneurysm clipping surgery.
Dr. Jimoh, a distinguished Professor of Surgery and Consultant Neurosurgeon, led the operation, marking a historic moment as the first of its kind in the northern part of Nigeria.
