We Are Looking for Head of Finance and Accounts

Job summary:

We are a medium-sized manufacturing company that produces and distributes natural and healthy food and tea products. We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head of Finance and Accounts to join our executive team and lead our financial operations and strategy. He/She will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s finances, including financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, tax compliance, risk management, and business strategy. He/She will also work closely with other senior managers and stakeholders to ensure the company’s financial performance and growth objectives are met. The candidate is expected to grow into the role of CFO within 24 calendar months.

Job responsibilities:

Drive the company’s financial planning and analysis, and provide financial insights and guidance to support the company’s strategic decisions and goals

Manage and optimize the company’s capital structure and financing options, and evaluate and execute investment opportunities

Ensure the company’s financial reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant accounting standards and regulations

Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow and liquidity, and ensure sufficient funds are available for the company’s operations and expansion

Develop and implement effective internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard the company’s assets and mitigate financial risks.

Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team, and provide coaching and mentoring to enhance their performance and professional development.

Establish and maintain positive relationships with external parties, such as investors, lenders, auditors, regulators, suppliers, and customers

Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the food and beverage industry and the financial sector, and identify and implement best practices and innovations

Job requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree and CPA certification are preferred
2. At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, preferably in the food and beverage industry or a manufacturing environment
3. Proven track record of leading and managing financial operations and strategy, and delivering strong financial results and growth
4. In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations, and proficiency in financial software and tools
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and ability to provide sound financial advice and recommendations
6. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
7. High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards
8. Passionate about the company’s mission and vision, and committed to its success and social impact
