Achievers University Hosts COSMAS College Lecture Series
On May 15, 2024, Achievers University’s College of Social and Management Sciences welcomed a distinguished guest, Professor Andrews Ibisesan Ayodele, to their college lecture series.

Professor Ayodele, an esteemed economist and chief from Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria, delivered a lecture on the pressing topic of “The Nigerian Crude Oil and the Vulnerability of the Global Crude Oil Market.” He is a highly respected figure in his field, having studied Economics at University of Lagos(UNILAG), where he graduated as the second overall best student in 1975. He pursued his M.Sc. at the University of Ibadan, thanks to the Rockefeller scholarship awarded upon recommendation by his undergraduate department.
Professor Ayodele completed his Ph.D. in 1978, concluding his academic journey over six sessions.
ACU VC Assures Studentsโ Safety Ahead of June 13 Exams Date
Vice Chancellor of Ajayi Crowder University, Prof. Timothy Abiodun Adebayo, has pledged to ensure a secure and serene academic atmosphere for all students ahead of the upcoming examinations scheduled for June 13.

The Vice Chancellor stated this during a recent assembly at the universityโs Crowther Hall, refuting rumours circulating on social media about potential threats to campus safety.
This announcement comes as a response to the tragic incident involving a second-year Mechanical Engineering student, Akpo Alex who was beaten to death by some students in his hostel on alleged phone theft.
