Unilorin SSANU to Revamp Welfare Scheme
The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) at the University of Ilorin has unveiled plans to enhance its Welfare Scheme. The proposed changes include increasing the monthly minimum fee for members from N500 to N5000, a move driven by the current economic climate in Nigeria. This announcement was made by Mr. Mansur Adeleke Alfanla, Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the SSANU Welfare Scheme, during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on June 10, 2024, at the University Auditorium Basement.

6th Inaugural Lecture at Bingham University
Professor Samuel Unenwojo Odoma, a criminology expert from the Department of Sociology, delivered Bingham University’s 6th inaugural lecture, titled “The Imperative of Securing Nigeria’s Security.”
