Job Purpose
The Group BD & Corporate Affairs Manager is a creative and innovative partner responsible for creating and executing competitive business strategies, leveraging systemic understanding of regulatory and clients operations, structures and relations to identify early stage opportunities.
The role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the group’s corporate brand and reputation, supporting government and media relations, issues and crisis management, and the production of key marketing and communications materials.
Business Development
Develop new and maintain existing business partnerships: Managing existing business partnerships and refining current partnership models.
Identify and build new business opportunities and engagements.
Engaging with stakeholders and identifying future opportunities for impact across the business.
Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.
Identify sales/business leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working elationship with new contacts.
Conduct presentations periodically to ensure stakeholders remain informed of company’s suite of products and services.
External Relations
Develop and maintain an updated contact database of key external stakeholders.
Keep oversight of stakeholder relationships held across the organisation, to ensure that the organization maximizes opportunities for coordinated activity along the value chain.
Have a finger on the pulse of the industry, market and competitors, and constantly communicate on issues relating to the industry.
Develop strong relationships with external relations teams in member institutions and other organisations, and leading collaborations where appropriate.
Support the development, production and delivery of organizational information and data in new and engaging formats for wider dissemination to key influencers.
Work with the internal stakeholders to ensure all external materials and communications follow organisational brand, quality and other protocols and requirements.
Manage relationships and workflow between consultants/agencies as required.

Be an active member of emerging networks, building and maintaining effective relationships, advising Management on engagement and outreach options.

Support Internal Processes by staying up to date on company best practices, policies, products, pricing, and programs.
Actively work within the policies and ethos of the organization.
Provide reports and other updates as required.
Corporate Affairs
Manage and coordinate research into stakeholder’s perceptions and image of the organization and drive a corporate brand strategy/platform that provides a lift in overall brand awareness and favourability.
Maintain Company profile, stationery, and brand communication materials, ensuring any changes are in line with the Brand vision.
Ensure all corporate policies are up to date and communicated to appropriate parties.
Manage the Company’s digital/electronic platforms and monitor for proper representation of corporate values.
Oversee Corporate Communications Activities.
Conduct administration, coordination, content creation, and development of key strategic messaging to all partners (e.g. board of directors, board committees, executive committees, clients, etc.).
Manage the administration, scheduling, and content coordination/creation for all standard senior executive forums for which the CEO is the lead or chair.
Work with the legal team on all corporate matters, including documentation and registrations.
Oversee Company participation in seminars & conferences.
Work with Human Resources on Talent Management and Corporate Hospitality & Wellness initiatives to improve employee engagement, boost overall work performance, and maximize a healthy leadership and team culture.
Support CSR functions as determined by the CEO.
Develop and maintain effective networks, enhancing relationships on behalf of the Group CEO with key stakeholders.
Maintain a list of government representatives and maintain a sound and current understanding of government processes.

Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field from a reputable university
MBA/MSc (Added Advantage)
Experience: Minimum of 6 years work experience leading Stakeholder Engagement, Business Development and Corporate Communications in the Oil & Gas Industry.

Job Description
Responsibilities
Lead conceptualisation and implementation of audio/visual (creatives, photography, videography) application of brand’s persona across all touch points and locations
Coordinate all aspects of production, including preparing final designs for presentation, checking and approving colour, copy, text format separations, and scaling images for production across different media
Establish and set corporate visual branding standards for all internal and external marketing communications as well as update brand manual and all BTL and ATL audio-visual brand assets for online and traditional applications
Manage corporate branding and re-branding, redesign logo, and document branding standards and guidelines; and produce custom HTML for PR and e-Commerce marketing campaigns
Collaborate with Strategy/HR/Business Leads/Directors Office to create powerful and innovative messaging through infographics, photography, PowerPoint presentations and videos
Carry out SEO post-mortems to optimize & improve the quality of activations
Lead the production of materials to be used across-the-board to engage both internal and external stakeholders – Logos, Documentaries, Videos, Photo stories, Interview clips, animations, graphs, maps, charts, posters, presentation templates, corporate souvenirs, banner, signs, signages, and report covers; etc.
Organize copy flow and maintains database/bibliographic/archival retrieval system of all references used in creation and storage of all audio-visual brand assets and published materials.
Manage budget, including invoicing, tracking project expenditures and assisting in budget development by summarizing, researching and analysing past project expenditures
Handle copyright, reprint, and permission processes.
Envisaging and interpreting the audio/visual direction for various subsidiaries/department and develop appropriate strategy accordingly
Lead audio-visual transition into the metaverse with a wide range of media optimisation and computer-aided design (CAD)
Lead production of commercials, films, exhibitions (virtual and physical), and animations to reinforce brand positioning
Lead monthly and Quarterly reporting on performance/impact of audio-visual activation.
Minimum Qualification/Experience
Expert knowledge utilizing full optimization of Adobe creative suite, Canva, and various 3-D software platforms a plus.
Expert knowledge of photography and videography: strategy, capturing, editing
Adept with all forms of social media and platforms, including Twitter, Threads, Facebook and Instagram, Linkedin
Deploying Ai seamlessly to optimize output.
