Kayode Tijani, a versatile sports journalist and analyst is dead. Kayode passed on Wednesday, 7 February 2024 at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) after a protracted illness.
The family has announced that the funeral arrangement is slated for Thursday, 8 February 2024 at Atan Cemetery in Lagos at 2.00 pm according to Islamic rites.

Kayode is a hardworking, versatile, adventurous, knowledgeable, and enterprising sports journalist.
He had covered many sporting events not limited to COJA 2003. Many African Cup of Nations tournaments, Olympic events, and a host of other sporting activities.
He will be remembered for his informed analysis, truth, and willingness to help other up-and-coming sports journalists.
