TIP 2
Get Like Minds Together
No doubt that as a student entrepreneur, one of your key qualities is to be able to identify friends, classmates (or course mates) that share similar passions with you.
Get your team together and brainstorm on strategies for a successful online business.
It’s also critical to get mentors in your chosen field.
Find a couple of people (students like you if you can find or your predecessors) willing to help you on your journey.
TIP 3
Do Market Research
This is key in our digital world awash with tools that can show you if there’s light on the path you’re headed in starting an online business as a student.

TIP 4
Pre-sell
Thinkific, in one of its article on creating a successful online course, advisee you pre-sell the course before it’s even created.
This is a strategy I’ve used and saw great expectations before I launched my Professional Website Design Course.
This expectation from netizens was a huge motivation for me as a lot of people were asking for the course long before it was launched.
With this strategy, you can structure your landing page to collect email contacts that you would use for marketing when course is launched.
This tip can actually be applied to any product and service.
TIP 5
Promote! Promote!! Promote!!!
On the inevitable need to promote your online business, Word stream, a data and insight platform, spills it out plainly:
“In order to survive and grow, your business needs customers. In order to get customers, you need to promote your business.”
In one of its articles revealing how you can promote your business with or without money and stating the seemingly obvious….
“Using Google to promote your business is a no-brainer. Capturing more than 90% of the market share, it’s one of the best ways to get in front of consumers that are actively searching for solutions.”
So…
Without further ado, setup your Google Profile, Search Console and Analytics properties to measure, on a regular basis, how you’re fairing.
Again…
Don’t fail to promote your business on all social media platforms.
