The grand finale of the President Federation Cup for both men and women will be held at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Saturday, June 29th.
Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, General Secretary of the NFF, confirmed the date, noting that both the NFF and GTI have agreed on this schedule. This decision aligns with Nigeria’s deadline of June 30th to submit the names of clubs representing the country in next season’s continental competitions to the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
“After reviewing our schedules, the progress of the men’s and women’s competitions, and the CAF submission deadline, we and GTI have settled on June 29th for the grand finale of the President Federation Cup,” Dr. Sanusi stated. “The event will take place at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, with the women’s final starting at 1 PM and the men’s final at 4 PM, continuing our longstanding tradition. Both the NFF and GTI are dedicated to delivering an outstanding event this year.”
The quarter-finals of the women’s competition are scheduled for Wednesday, June 19th, with matches taking place in Benin City, Asaba, and Enugu. The men’s semi-finals will occur on Thursday, June 20th, with Abuja and Lafia serving as host locations.
