Pelumi Nubi, a 28-year-old travel content creator, has completed her solo road trip from London, United Kingdom, to Lagos, Nigeria, receiving a warm reception upon her arrival.
The Nigerian-British citizen was welcomed at the Nigeria-Benin Republic border by representatives of the Lagos State Government, including the Commissioner of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, and the Special Adviser, Tourism, Arts and Culture, Idris Aregbe.
The journey, which spanned several countries and thousands of kilometers, culminated in a celebration marked by pomp. Nubi documented her adventure on social media, sharing her experiences and encounters along the way.
In a statement, the Lagos State Government praised Nubi for her remarkable achievement, describing her as a trailblazer and an inspiration to others.
The government officials expressed their delight in welcoming her back home, highlighting her journey as a symbol of resilience, determination, and adventurous spirit.
