3000-Seater Amphitheatre at Unilorin
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Professor Wahab Egbewole, SAN, paid a surprise visit to the construction site of the new state-of-the-art amphitheatre.
This remarkable project, funded by ASR Africa to the sum of N1 billion, is progressing well. Professor Egbewole expressed his sincere gratitude to ASR Africa for their generous support.
The entire student body is eagerly anticipating the completion of the project. The amphitheatre will undoubtedly be a valuable addition to campus life for many years to come.

NOUN’s Faculty of Science
The Faculty of Science in National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is set for a complete university experience as it doesn’t lay emphasis on theory alone but also concentrate on practical.
Following this, the University will commence its 2024_1 hand-on practical in April 15, to May 11, 2024 across all the designated study centres.
The practical will be coming up in Bauchi and Yola for North-east; Kano and Sokoto for North-west; Abuja and Makurdi for North-central; Owerri and Enugu for South-east; Benin and Uyo for South-south, and Abeokuta, Lagos Centre, Surulere Center, Ikorodu Centre and Osogbo for South-west.
Bobrisky’s Award Controversy
The Best Dressed Female Award given to cross dresser, Bobrisky, is still creating face-off among movie stars in Nollywood, as it had to take Eniola Ajao to apologise on behalf of the Nollywood stars like, Femi Adebayo, who presented the award, Dayo Amusa and Bobrisky herself.
Ajao is scared that the dimension the matter is navigating might affect her new movie negatively in the market.
The thespian said the award was meant to be a joke, and that she and her team wanted to generate a buzz around the film to be in the faces of the people.
She disclosed that they decided to give it to Bobrisky because she is always a controversial person.
Ajao expressed in defence of Adebayo that he did not know a lot of things, that he was just called upon to present the award, and not that he was part of the judges.
During the premier of Beast of Two Worlds: ‘Ajakaju’ by Ajao, Bobrisky won the Best Dressed Female which women decried and saw as a debasement of womanhood.
However, Ajao, having tendered apology, has announced Bode Alao and one other lady as the Best Dressed Females with a cash prize of N1million.
