Eduardo Inda, the chief pundit at Okdiario, highlighted Mendy’s reliability and consistent performance for Real Madrid, despite sometimes being overlooked.

Speaking on El Chiringuito, Inda revealed Real Madrid’s strategy regarding Mendy’s future: “Real Madrid aims to extend Mendy’s contract, but if he declines, they plan to sell him this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer when his contract ends. PSG’s interest has prompted this proactive approach.”

Real Madrid’s backup plan involves using the funds from Mendy’s potential sale to finance the acquisition of Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich, ensuring they maintain strength in the fullback position.
