The 2024 Federation Cup is set to kick off with the commencement of club registration, marking the beginning of an exciting journey for both men’s and women’s competitions. Football Associations in all 36 states of the Federation, along with the Federal Capital Territory, will oversee this crucial phase.
The registration process, slated to start today, will span one month, concluding in the submission of completed player licenses to the Nigeria Football Federation for processing. This phase is scheduled to take place from December 1st to December 8th, 2023, setting the stage for the State competition, which is slated to run from January 20th to February 25th, 2024.
Following the State competitions, each State Football Association and the FCT Football Association will be required to nominate two representatives for the national competition, which is set to unfold on February 26th, 2024.
To facilitate participation, clubs in the men’s competition are required to pay a registration fee of N150,000, while clubs interested in the women’s competition will need to submit N100,000 each. Late registration for the men’s competition will incur a fee of N200,000, and for the women’s competition, it will be N120,000.
